The original “Loxton's Heat and Serve” was established in 1988. The company focused on the food service arena, supplying key products and delivering market leading food innovation. It won many awards at industry events and was renowned for the quality and inspirational nature of its dishes.
In 2007, the company was bought by a group of investors and renamed loxtonfoodco. The focus remains the same... great quality and innovative food, but the customer base has expanded to include retail in addition to the Food Service channels. The management team at loxtonfoodco has decades of experience in Food Manufacturing, Retail & Food Service.
The business is based in Stockport. Recent expansion has led to increased capacity in the factory, however it operates very much like a kitchen with a lot of hand preparation at the beginning of the process, followed by one of two simple cooking methods.
We specialise in soups, sauces and recipe dishes with sous-vide being the principal cooking method. If you would like more information on this, then please go to the cooking methods section of the website.
Our range of recipes covers all cuisine types from Madrid to Marrakesh... but the main focus is British, Asian and Italian cooking.
